Biografia
I Black Mesa si formano nell’estate del 2015 dall’unione di tre amici: Giacomo Checconi, Matteo Pieroni e Paolo Mattesini. I tre condividono il desiderio di creare del materiale proprio in cui riuscire a ricreare in chiave moderna le sonorità degli anni 90 con cui sono cresciuti.
Comincia dunque la stesura dei primi riff e la ricerca di un Frontman. Nell’Agosto dello stesso anno Camilla Bruni entra a far parte del gruppo e le parti strumentali cominciano a prendere forma e ad essere raffinate intorno alle capacità vocali della cantante.
I Black Mesa non fanno riferimento ad un genere ben preciso ma cerca di miscelare i vari gusti musicali di ogni singolo componente quali il grunge, lo stoner e l’ alternative/rock.
Biography
Black Mesa were founded in 2015 from the union of three friends: Giacomo Checconi, Matteo Pieroni and Paolo Mattesini. They share the same desire to create their own music trying to propose in a modern way the sound from the 90’s which they have grown up with.
They started to play their first own riff and, at the same time, they looked for a singer. Last August Camilla Bruni Joined the band as the singer and they started to compose their own songs around her singing talent.
Black Mesa don’t refer to one single music genre but they try to mix the musical tastes of each member of the band like stoner, grunge and alternative/rock.
